Walking
The Sabina area is great for walks and hiking, offering walks of
varying length and difficulty. Some fairly gentle walks of an hour
or two have been created recently around Casperia itself, in 2004
and 2005 a group of international volunteers from a project called
International Workcamps cleared, restored and signposted the old
mule tracks in the area, creating a series of 5 walks. We can provide
maps for these walks or arrange a guide if you'd like.

Weekend walks will be operated all year long on request (minimum
4 participants) and depending on weather conditions and guests interest
one of the walks can be substituted by a more strenuous full day
trek to the peak of Monte Pizzuto 1.200 mts. From where on a clear
day one can see the peaks of the Appenines and as far as the Tyrennian
sea.
On request daily hikes and free climbing can be arranged.
