COOKING
CLASSES
La Torretta Bed and Breakfast

The Sabina area is less known than Tuscany, making it more genuine
and certainly less touristy. Local specialities can be found in
the restaurants including the Stringozzi pasta, hand made all in
one piece. Porcini mushrooms are found in the woods during the season,
and then fettucine ai funghi porcini is a must and, in the mountains,
wild boar in red wine sauce! The local cheeses are pecorino and
ricotta, fresh organic produce is abundant and the ancient villages
still preserve the secrets of handed down recipes.
