Our cooking breaks are relaxed, fun, and hands on, and are a perfect way of enjoying a stay in the countryside near Rome, preparing simple and genuine dishes that look and taste good.
Various options are available depending on partecipants we cooperate with several other places and we can arrange different type of experiences with Gusto al borgo and il bosco dei sabini:

One hands on cooking lesson, preparing a delicious four courses Italian meal, including making pasta from scratch, the way mamma used to do and other specialties using local seasonal products. - Cooking break
Customized organised itineraries for a 3 /4 day stay, including one or more hands on cooking lessons, visit to an olive oil farm with tasting ,the olive hill, a vist to a local winery, and to a local cheese farm Ecofattorie sabine.


Olive Oil and cheese tastings
Sabina Olive oil is known throughout the world for its quality, intense scent and wonderful flavour . Roman aristocrats had villas and farms in the Sabina, and present day Romans come to get away from the city and to buy the local olive oil. Olive farms have nearly always been the main activity in the area, and the liquid gold as it is called was the first oil to win the DOP certification..
We cooperate with several producers and arrange with farmers olive oil tasting and experiences the olive hill. Harvesting season is generally from mid october till december
